The Target Staker software is a target betting or loss chasing staking plan for horse racing. It will calulate your stake sizes, return, profit/loss amounts and will keep a running balance. You can also create separate "systems" for use with different selection methods you may use. Within each system seperate "sheets" can be created. These can be helpful if you were betting on more than one selection per race for example.

Creating a new system

Click on New in the Systems section.

Enter a name for your system and your target amount in the Bet to win field.

Select either the Per race or Per Series option.

Per race: This will add the initial target amount on top of every bet, including any previous losses.

Per Series: This means that only the profit/loss amounts will be added or subtracted to the initial target.

Click OK once you are done. Click on the system name in the Systems window to load it into the main window.

Adding a new bet

Click on the New Bet button.

Enter a race code and selection number and then click on Done.

Enter the expected odds in decimal format and click on Done.

The required stake to return a profit of the target amount is then calculated.

When the results are known enter the actual odds it payed. Enter 0 if it lost. Click Done.

The return, profit/loss and running balance are then calculated.

If the odds payed were equal to or greater than the expected odds the target will have been achieved and the target is reset for the next bet.

If the target is not reached, any profit will be taken away from the target and any loss will be added to the target for the next bet.

Click New Bet to create the next bet.

Reseting the Target amount

You can raise or lower the current target by entering the new amount in the Reset Target field and clicking the Reset button.

Creating a new sheet

This basically creates a new system within the current system on a separate sheet. You can rename a sheet by going to the edit menu and selecting Rename Sheet.

Statistics

Performance statistics for the currently selected system are shown in the Statistics window. You can show statistics for individual sheets by selecting them from the dropdown menu.
